Create Your Website Easily with the Best Website Builders of 2023

Introduction

Building a simple website for your business is no longer a daunting task in today’s market. The ten best website builders on the market today are all quite capable of creating sites that look great and function well. You can still create a custom design by hand, but if you don’t have time or skills in this area, these platforms will do an amazing job of helping you build an attractive and functional website for your business.

How can you choose the best website builder for your business?

When you’re looking for a website builder, it’s important to consider what you need. Do you want a blog? A store? A landing page? Or maybe even just a website for your business?

With so many options out there, it can be hard to know where to start. The first thing we recommend is taking some time and thinking about what your goals are with the site. If all that matters is having something simple and informative up on the web, then there’s no reason not to go with one of our top picks: Squarespace or WordPress (which comes free). On the other hand, if making money from sales on an e-commerce store is important for your bottom line then Shopify might be worth considering since it offers built-in payment processing tools in addition to its excellent design features

WordPress

WordPress is the MOST POPULAR CMS in the world and it’s easy to see why, we here at Filos Creations use it too!

WordPress is open source so it has a large community that can help you with any problems you may encounter. You are usually only one Google Search away from finding out what’s the issue with your WordPress site! WordPress is also free to use and currently runs 43% of ALL websites worldwide!

However, there are some downsides: if you require a professional website for your established business, you’ll need to be patient while waiting for updates from your developer or designer because they may not have time to update everything right away. A WordPress website will also require maintenance every once in awhile (eg: plugins/theme updates) and it is important to make sure that your website remains secure.

Squarespace

Squarespace is a great website builder for small businesses and ecommerce sites. It’s also ideal for blogs, portfolios, and more.

Squarespace offers a lot of flexibility in terms of design options–you can choose from different templates or start from scratch with your own custom design. The drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to add pages or content blocks like blog posts and portfolio pages.

However, Squarespace can get a little bit pricey for the average user as plans start at about 16$/month for their most basic plan. Squarespace also does not offer as much customisation when compared to a website builder like WordPress/Webflow.

Webflow

Webflow is a website builder, CMS and drag-and-drop builder. It’s code free and visual, making it easy to use for beginners, and I would recommend it to anyone trying to build a simple website for their small/medium business.

Webflow is modern in that it offers responsive themes (which adjust automatically according to your visitor’s device) as well as responsive layouts (which adapt to different screen sizes). But it’s not just about looks, Webflow also offers SEO options like Schema Microdata, rich snippets and structured data markup.

Webflow’s pricing begins at $14/month for their basic plan which is not too bad. For a full guide on every single pro and con of Webflow, check out this article by StyleFactory – Webflow Review 2023!

Wix

Wix is a website builder and CMS that makes it easy for anyone to create beginner websites. It’s been around since 2006 and it is basically a household name, so Wix has had plenty of time to finetune and refine their product.

Wix’s most basic commercial plan starts at $8.50/month and it is enough for anyone who is trying to build a personal blog/portfolio or even a professional corporate website. As a drag-and-drop builder like Squarespace, there is a limit to the customizability options offered by Wix. That’s why I would never recommend it as a good solution for any small/medium enterprise, but more for solopreneurs or personal projects.

Shopify

Shopify is an excellent platform for e-commerce sites. It has a built-in payment processor, a wide selection of themes and templates, and many add-ons and plugins that you can use to customize your site.

With the newfound popularity of dropshipping, Amazon FBA etc., in recent years Shopify has gained lots of popularity. They also offer basic training and support options for users who want it. If you are trying to have a go at starting an e-commerce shop, Shopify is definitely the way to go as you can just back out or cancel your plan whenever.

Shopify’s basic monthly plan starts at $29/month which is definitely the most pricey on the list, but it is also the only drag-and-drop builder interface for e-commerce.

If you have an established shop with a track record of sales, then using a more all-rounded website builder like WordPress or Webflow for your e-commerce needs could be an option. However, if you are just starting out, I would recommend that you rely on Shopify instead!

ClickFunnels

ClickFunnels is a sales funnel tool that allows you to create landing pages, email marketing and sales funnels.

It’s ideal for anyone who wants to build their own website but doesn’t have any coding skills or design experience. To be completely honest, we have not used ClickFunnels for a professional project yet! However, it does seem interesting and it seems like it would help with converting potential customers on your website for specific niches. In the future, we aim to seamlessly integrate ClickFunnels into a WordPress website and see if we are able to leverage the strengths of ClickFunnels to improve the marketing efforts of our WordPress website.

But that’s a topic for another day don’t take my word for it just yet!

Conclusion

Currently, there are way too many website builder options for me to be able to list them all! However, the few that I listed above are a few of the big names in the industry and it will be very hard to go wrong with them. Different builders are also tailored to suit your specific needs and if you are still unsure of which one to use, you can always drop us a message for a free consultation and brainstorming session.

No matter what website builder you choose, they do have similar defining features that can help you create a professional-looking site for your business or for personal use.
